Exciting news for the future of Eclipse Engineering: Learn more here

Giving Plate Community Store and Distribution Center

Eclipse provided specialty structural engineering for this nonprofit food pantry in Bend, Oregon, in two projects from 2022 and 2023, as part of the organization’s efforts to expand their reach and services to support growing need.

The Distribution Center project was a remodel of an existing building that was comprised of CMU exterior walls, bowstring roof trusses over the warehouse, and stick framing roof rafters and joists at the office area. Eclipse mostly provided engineering for repairs, new storefront openings, and new stairs to access the upper level office space.  Eclipse is proud to waive a portion of our fee to support this community cause.

For the Community Store, we assisted with the tenant improvement by designing reinforcement in the existing rear CMU wall for a new door opening.
