Expo Parkway Mini Storage

About this project

Eclipse engineered the concrete foundations of a mini-storage development consisting of one-story, non-habitable structures. The project includes 15 storage buildings that vary from 2,200 square feet to 28,000 square feet; the total square footage of the storage building area is approximately 157,000 square feet. The storage buildings are constructed out of pre-engineered cold formed steel by a contractor.

Eclipse also engineered a two-story office building on the site at approximately 4,200 square feet, consisting of mostly wood construction with steel moment frames used as the lateral force resisting system at three sides of the exterior walls. The roof framing is prefabricated press plate wood trusses designed by others. The upper floor framing is I-joists designed to support 125 PSF light storage loading.
