Architect Cavin Costello with The Ranch Mine told the magazine that the homeowner sought to create a “sanctuary where modern luxury met the natural splendour of the area.” The four-bedroom, three-bath retreat features expansive curtain walls, a 25-foot-tall great room and a wooden sauna with a window for enjoying the greenery outside.
The wood-framed, geometric-styled structure includes about 3,500 square feet of living space, a garage and 650-square-foot deck. Eclipse provided structural calculations on the vertical load-bearing system and foundation, as well as the lateral force resisting system.
